Most decorators really have talent, so they are referred by their friends and family to their friends. Most decorators are well educated with a college degree but not an interior design degree. Many may have majored in Home Economics or maybe Business. I do know a few nurses that have turned to being decorators.Some decorators specialize in different aspects of decorating a home. Some help with Paint color, Flooring style and color, Picture placement, Furniture placement and/or Custom Window Treatments.
