Ye Olde Design Shoppe was established in 1982. Betty Lohman is the owner. She received an Associate degree in education in 1969 from Kennesaw University and a BS in Home Economics from Georgia Southern University in 1971. Betty started her business when she lived in the Atlanta area and still enjoys going back to that area to help her past clients. It’s only a 45 minute to an hour drive back to most of her past clients. Ye Olde Design Shoppe has a full scale workroom and enjoys working with each client in their homes and creating a design just for them. She also enjoys working with designers and making the designs they have created. To help Betty will measure, make and install the window treatments they design.

Over the years Betty has attended many classes on the fabrication and also the design of custom window treatments. Betty is a member of the Designers Workroom Council since 1995. By attending  professional groups, window treatment Expos and also visiting home shows Betty keeps up with all that’s new in the window treatment business so that she can better serve her clients.
